Who should I call to get started?

We’re so excited to meet you! Is there a waiting list for admission?

Availability can vary depending on current occupancy and individual care needs. We recommend contacting our admissions team directly to discuss availability, schedule a tour, and learn more about the admission process.

Do you have short-term and long-term care? Do you offer in-home care? 

We offer both short-term care, such as post acute rehabilitation and respite stays, and long-term skilled nursing care for those with ongoing medical needs. At this time, care is provided within our facility, and we do not offer in-home care services.

Can I bring personal belongings?

Yes, residents are encouraged to bring personal belongings such as photos, decor, and other meaningful items to make their space feel more comfortable and familiar during their stay.

What services are offered at your skilled nursing facility?

At the Villages of St. Peters, we offer a full range of skilled nursing services designed to support recovery, long-term care, and overall wellness. Services include 24-hour skilled nursing care, medication management, post-hospital and sub-acute care, rehabilitation therapy, respiratory therapy, wound care, pain management, and specialized programs such as hospice, respite, and palliative care. 

What type of nurses do you have on staff?

Our skilled nursing team includes licensed nurses who provide 24-hour care under the supervision of an onsite Medical Director and Director of Nursing. Our staff participates in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices and deliver high-quality, compassionate care. 

What other professionals do you have on staff?

In addition to our nursing team, we have a multidisciplinary staff to better serve your medical needs, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists, a registered dietitian, social services professionals, and access to specialists such as psychologists, audiologists, and other healthcare providers as needed.

What kind of medical needs can you accommodate?

We are equipped to care for a wide range of medical needs, including post-surgical recovery, stroke and cardiac rehabilitation, respiratory conditions, diabetes management, complex wound care, and chronic health conditions. Our team creates individualized care plans to meet each resident’s specific needs.

When will the doctor see me?

Doctors typically visit within 24 hours of admission. Your nurse will communicate any medical concerns with your doctor before and after they see you. 

What type of rehabilitation equipment is available on site?

Our rehabilitation program features state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated therapy spaces for physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We provide specialized equipment and training areas designed to support mobility, strength building, balance, and recovery for a variety of conditions.

Do I need to bring my medications?

No, you do not need to provide medications unless specifically told to do so. Upon admission, we will order your medications using our off-site pharmacy, then securely store them on-site to ensure safety. 

How long is a typical stay?

Each case is different and unique. Patient progress is reviewed weekly by our Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) of nurses, therapists, and dietitians. Our main goal is that you reach your highest level of independence.

What amenities are offered at your skilled nursing facility?

Our community provides comfortable amenities designed to enhance daily living, including private and semi-private rooms, accessible bathrooms, housekeeping and laundry services, cable TV, and three daily meals with snacks. Residents also enjoy engaging activities, social events, and access to a weekly on-site beauty shop.

What is your dining program like?

The Villages of St. Peters’ dining program offers a full-service dining program to meet the dietary and nutritional needs of all our residents. Our dining services include delicious, freshly made meals every day, with specialty diets available according to your health needs.

What is your visitor policy?

At the Villages of St. Peters we prioritize the role family and friends play in our patients’ emotional well-being and physical recovery. We do not have set visiting hours so family and friends are welcome to visit our post acute care patients at their convenience. 

Questions & Concerns

How do you protect patients, staff, and visitors from COVID-19 and other infectious diseases?

Our team is highly trained and experienced in caring for high-acuity patients and infectious diseases like COVID-19. Our dedicated infection prevention nurse helps ensure we follow current infection prevention guidelines and best practices. This includes educating all staff about the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as N95 masks, surgical masks, gloves, and gowns and when to use COVID-19 protocols required by local department of public health and/or the CDC.

What do we do if we have personnel concerns?

Our primary concern is that your loved one feels comfortable here and that their needs are being met. You should feel secure and at ease with our staff, particularly those providing direct care. If you have any concerns or praise for our staff, please feel free to contact our social services department. They will be able to address any apprehensions you may have regarding any particular staff members.
